Home Page

•What time does the action take palce?

The schedule is as follows:

During the meal a digital projector will be showing a slideshow of various RMC activites over the last year. There is no competition, just the chance to show off any pictures you have taken over the last year. Please bring your pictures on the night on a USB stick or CD Rom.

•Where is the action taking place?

The following picture shows an aerial view of Grandborough with all the necessary ammenities marked. North is at the top of the picture:

•What about the camping?

The campsite is marked on the above map. You are welcome to errect your tent, park your camper van etc. from Saturday morning onwards. There will be a nominal charge for camping, collected by Paul McMahon. If you are camping you might like to pitch your tent before joining us on the cycle ride. This will avoid the need to pitch your tent in the dark!

The campsite is very close to Paul & Hazel's house "Laurence Cottage" and Paul has kindly loaned the use of his facilities for use by the campers. Hazel, however, is furious with the situation - so best to try and keep out of her way.

•What about the drinking?

Even the least skilled map reader will have determined that the journey from the Shoulder of Mutton to the Village Hall is not on the limits of human endurance. For this reason there will be no beer provided with the meal. Please feel free to bring your own or purchase a carry out from the Shoulder of Mutton.

If bringing your own wine please bring your own wine glass also!

•What about the cycling?

There are two cycling routes proposed one of 55 miles and one of 37 miles. To view the routes click on the following links:

55 mile route

37 mile route

You can 'drag' the map using the mouse, and zoom in and out using the tool in the top left hand corner of the map

Printed copies of both routes will be available from the starting point in Grandborough (departing at noon). Both routes finish past the 'White Horse' in Welton which is the proposed refreshment point.

•Am I going?

I don't know. Details of all guests, together with meal selections, are available here
