RMC Hut Details
The current hut availability can be viewed on the club event calendar by clicking here. The hut is available for booking by BMC affiliated clubs and other recognised groups on application.

The club hut is located in upper Cwm Eigiau behind Dolgarrog in the Conwy Valley, North Wales Grid reference SH 713638. The hut is clearly marked on OS Outdoor Leasure Map. No. 17. Click here for directions or click here to view the hut location using streetmap.co.uk (the hut location is indicated by the orange arrow).
Access is by foot only from the public car park at SH 732663. The hut is a superb starting point for all the hills in the Carneddau. The classic climbs 'Amphitheater Buttress' & 'Mur Y Niwl' on Craig yr Ysfa are approximatly 45 minutes walk from the front door.

The hut provides basic accomodation in a very quiet and secluded part of the country.
The hut is equipped with basic cooking facilities (gas rings & grills) and gas lighting. The hut is not served by electricity. A chemical toilet is installed in the hut extension.
The hut sleeps a maximum of 12 people, though a party size of 8 can make for a more relaxing visit.
A coke fired stove ensures that you need never be cold during your visit, so long as you remember your matches!
